James N. Bryan

James N. Bryan, 83, of Brazil, Ind., passed away at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute on Feb. 8, 2019.
He was born in Brazil, Ind., on October 13, 1935, the son of Ralph and Reba (Bowers) Bryan.
Jim worked as a plumber for many years. He also worked at Freitag Weinhardt, and Johnson Control. Jim and his wife Mary owned and operated Liberty Avenue Tavern for several years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and watching racing at the Indy 500 racetrack and the Action Track in Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Reba Bryan; siblings: Melvin Bryan, Ted Bryan, Earl Bryan, Ronnie Bryan, and Mary Ann Bohlar.
Survivors include his wife Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Bryan of Brazil, daugthers: Debra Sutherland and husband Jerry, Rita K. Morris (Terry Rhuebottom), and Karen Sue Bryan; grandchildren: Michael Morris, Charity Laznik, Angela Brady, and Holly Kent; great-grandchildren: Andrew, Kaylee, Zachary, Jacob, McKayla, Keyston, Kenleigh, and Klark; a great-great-grandson August; and a sister Martha Heal as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private burial will be held at Clearview Cemetery. Lawson - Miller Chapel has been entrusted with his care.
