George H. Bock
George graduated from Manchester College in 1947, and Indiana University in 1950, with a master's degree in administration. He was an educator for 36 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Temple. In addition, he belonged to the Columbia City Masonic Lodge 189, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 65, and Scottish Rite Fort Wayne Valley. He was past master of Lodge 189, a noble of the Mystic Shrinemizpah Temple, Fort Wayne, and was an honorary member of Riley Lodge 390.
He is survived by his son, Mark Bock (Dr. Jane Bridges) of Vincennes; and daughter, Melladee Bock of Anderson; grandsons, Joshua Boggs (Norma), Jacob Boggs and Justin Boggs (Jamie); and six great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeannette R. Farrar Bock; his six brothers, Edward, Carl, Paul, John, Howard and Harold; and his sister, Priscilla.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 1 until 3 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Drane officiating. Masonic services will be administered by Riley Masonic Lodge 390. He will be interred at Green Lawn Mausoleum, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the George and Jeannette Bock Endowment Scholarship Fund at Manchester University, North Manchester, IN 46963.
