Freda Crossley Crawford, 86, of Lawrenceburg, and formerly of Clinton, died at 10 a.m. Jan. 22, 2018, in the Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg. She was born Aug. 30, 1931, in Sandridge in Parke County, to Harry Crossley and Angeline Ladiha Crossley.
She had worked at Columbia Records as well as home healthcare. She was a member of the Eagles and Moose.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy Hale; two nephews, Richard Hale and Harry McClam; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Crossley; and brothers-in-law, Richard Hale, Fred Yowell, Dale Strole and Harry McClam.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie Stash Kintner and Tom of Aurora; one granddaughter, Amy Lane Gilmour and Scott of Lebanon, Ohio; one great-grandson, Drew Gilmour of Columbus, Ohio; one great-granddaughter, Haley Gilmour of Lebanon; three sisters, Veda Yowell and Colleen McClam, both of Clinton and Mary Strole of Paris, Ill.; two brothers, Harry and Sue Crossley and Frank Crossley of Clinton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She loved to play euchre, bingo, crochet, and loved to bake and cook.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, with services to begin at 2 p.m. at Frist Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at:
