Evelyn Louise Ends, known to all as Louise, age 94, lifelong resident of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Towne Park Assisted Living in Brazil, Indiana.
Born in Clay County, Indiana, on Aug. 31, 1923, she was the daughter of Abe and Nellie Spurr Stallcop. Louise lost her father very young and Mike Moxin was a very treasured stepfather.
In March of 1948, Louise married Joseph L. Ends, and he preceded her in death in September of 1975. They had one son, Larry. She was always quite active and in her youth loved roller skating. For many years she worked for IGA, A and P, and Standard grocery stores in the meat department in Brazil and Terre Haute. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She loved cooking for her many friends, played cards every week and was a member of the Sunshine Club. She was a talented seamstress and loved crafting. After retiring, she volunteered much of her time to the food pantry in Brazil.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; husband, Joe; sister, Rean Thomas; and brothers, Charlie and Robert Stallcop.
Louise is survived by her son, Larry, and his wife Cindy; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. We will miss her dearly.
