Evangeline Ward Cooper Taylor was called to her Heavenly Home on June 6th, 2019. Evangeline was born on December 24th, 1936, to the union of Robert and Mary Elizabeth Ward in Buffalo, N.Y.
Evangeline was a homemaker, whose greatest joy was entertaining and feeding family and friends.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 30 years, Jack Taylor; five daughters, Denise Williams (Ray), Kimberly Perry, Jacqueline Morales Stewart, Jacqueline Taylor and Lori Ann Taylor; seven sons, Terry Ward, Vincent Morales, Sherman Taylor, Jack Cooper, Kevin Ward, Ronald Cooper (Susan) and Tracy Higginbotham; and two sisters, Ernestine Williams and Barbara Jean Ward of New York, and Lillian Hardiman of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Elizabeth Ward; and one son, Donald Cooper; sisters, Cleora Joyner, Patricia Mostiller, Evelyn Sanchez and Rose Maryon from Buffalo, N.Y.; and two brothers, Floyd Ward and Donald Ward.
She will be greatly missed by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be Friday, June 14, 2019, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services to follow from 1 to 3 p.m.
Funeral services and arrangements conducted by Russell Funeral Home.
