CLINTON - Emily Syme Inman, 79, of Clinton, died Nov. 13, 2017, at 6:50 p.m., in Vermillion Convalescent Center. She was born May 9, 1938, in Clinton to William Syme and Sarah Niesbet Syme.
She had worked as a secretary at Beardsley Law Office for several years. She was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Pat Inman on Sept. 10, 1961, in Clinton. They were married 56 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 254.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law, Clellia Sem; and her grandson, Kolton Fullenkamp.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Inman of Clinton; her daughter, Lisa and Corky Cutsinger of Battle Creek, Mich.; grandson, Braxton Fullenkamp of Pontiac, Mich.; brother-in-law, Doyne and Gracie Inman of Hagerstown; sister-in-law, Jeorgetta and Bennie Hollingsworth of Clinton; a special friend, Paula Barrett of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will begin at 3 p.m., with Marta Adubato officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
