Edna M Brown, 95, of Terre Haute, formerly of Dana, died 12:20 a.m. on March 5, 2018, at Meadows Manor North Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1922, in Clinton to Herschel Andrews and Della Smith Andrews.
She had retired from the former Clinton State Bank/Old National Bank in Clinton as a teller. She was a member of the Bono United Methodist Church, the Vermillion County Home Economics Club, and the Women's Society Christian Service Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Brown; her son, Michael J. Brown; and grandson, Eddie McDonald.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharen Miller of Terre Haute; grandson, Mitchell McDonald and Shannon of Libertyville; two granddaughters, Deloris Michelle Brown of Prairie Creek and Jennifer Hume of Vincennes; and five great-grandchildren, Shaye McDonald of Terre Haute, Shelbie McDonald of Terre Haute, Austin Hume of Vincennes, Camden Hume of Vincennes, and Chase Stevens of Libertyville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Frist Funeral Home in Clinton. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Frist with Charlie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Bono Cemetery.
