Dorothy 'Dottie' White

October 18, 1943 - December 27, 2018

Dorothy 'Dottie' White Dorothy "Dottie" White, 75, of West Terre Haute, a beautiful woman who was taken from this earth by an angel at 9:08 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Meadows Manor East. She was born in Terre Haute, on Oct. 18, 1943, to Ira Bostic Turner and Emma Cox Turner.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Thomas J. White Sr., whom she married May 12, 1963; two children, Thomas J. White Jr. (Debbie) and Cathy Hedges (Harry). She also is survived by her grandchildren, Thomas J. White III, Jesse Padgett (Katie), Jacob Hedges (Sierra), Laura Wilson, Kara Zimmerman, Daniel Wilson, Ken Milner, Tera Montgomery, Jennifer Hedges, and Kelly Hedges; as well as 16 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; as well as one grandson, Kevin Heyen.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen, with no services scheduled. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute.

Tom,Tommy & Kathy,I am so sorry to hear about Dottie's passing. She was a wonderful person and made the best Coffee and Chili. Just like my mom,she was the neighborhood mom on 11th st.I can tell you since my mom died last year that her wonderful memory will remain forever in your hearts and those that loved her.
