Dorothy Taylor Harmless, 90, of Rosedale, Indiana, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was a homemaker. She was born July 27, 1926, in Clay County, Indiana, to the late Jesse Taylor and Bertha Moore Taylor.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Glenn Harmless, whom she married May 19, 1943; also surviving, two sons, Ron (Mary Jo) Harmless of Terre Haute and Jim Harmless; one daughter, Carol (Dan) Creeden of Avon; one brother, Ralph (Charlotte) Taylor of Texas; one sister, Rosemary Wakefield of Anderson; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She attended Bridgeton (Raccoon Township) School. She attended the Spring Creek Community Church in Terre Haute. She was a member of the Chat and Patch club of Rosedale.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main St., Rosedale, with Pastor Gary Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
