Donald Ray "Fitch" Fiscus, 70, formerly of Clinton, died Sept. 11, 2017, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. He was born July 27, 1947, in Clinton, to Robert and Mabel Fiscus.
He was raised in the North Third Street neighborhood in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1965. He worked at Columbia Records in Terre Haute from 1967 to 1979. He retired from Sinram Manufacturing in Richmond, Ind., in 2009. He enjoyed traveling for both business and personal reasons from New York to California. He particularly enjoyed golfing at Hilton Head Island and took several business trips to Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill and Jackie Fiscus; a sister, Judy Fiscus; and stepson, Chad Holler.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin and Patrick Fread of Booneville, Ind., and Christi and Troy Price of St. Bernice; grandchildren, Troy Jr., Merecades and Dae Lainey; one stepson, David Holler; his companion cat, "Brat"; sisters, Roberta Martin of Zionsville, Ind., and Jane Smith of Clinton; one brother, Dave Fiscus of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton. After services, there will be a meal at McDonald Lake Rod and Gun Club. Online condolences may be made at:
