Debora Ann Cooper-Tartaglia, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away suddenly and peacefully due to a brain aneurysm with her friends and family present on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on Aug. 9, 1952, in Terre Haute, to Frederick Eugene and Helen Alma (Boltz) Stultz.
She married Marc Tartaglia in 1990. Debora is survived by her husband of 27 years, Marc Tartaglia of Terre Haute; children, Scott Cooper and wife Melody, Jamie Gregory and husband Clint, and Kristyn Cooper and husband Lawrence Chapa; a brother, Mike Stultz and wife Becky; sisters, Cindy Nix and husband Mark, Sharon Pickell and wife Veronica, and Teresa Stultz-Becker and husband Richard Munson; grandchildren, Madde Brossman, Lauren Maxwell, Jenna Cooper, Steven Gregory, Jeffrey Gregory, Kaylin Chapa, Kylie Chapa, Jason Cooper, and Lilly Gregory; a great-grandson, Anthony Brossman; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jeff Stultz.
Debora was a 1971 graduate of Garfield High School. She worked at Soderberg Optical for 15 years. Debora enjoyed playing and coaching softball. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Leek officiating.
