Darrell L. Davis, 57, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. Born in Anderson, to Jerry and Kay Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol (Dozier) Davis; his mother, Kay and stepfather Bobby Grounds; aunt, Konnie Manning; sister, Kimberly Ham and her children, Kendra (Ty) and Kyle (Rachael); brother, Danny (Deb) and their son, Marshall (Rachel), and great-nephew, Dylan.
A graduate of Eastern Hancock High School 1978, he served in the United States Marine Corps, and retired from his career with the Federal Aviation Administration.
He was member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 86, Sons of the American Legion, Marine Corps League, a Hall of Fame member of the Terre Haute Bowling Association, Golfweek Amateur Indianapolis Tour and racing photographer.
Visitation is Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, from 2 until 7 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with funeral services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 104 and an Elks memorial service provided by Elks Lodge 86. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
