Conard "Frank"'s Story
SHELBURN - Conard "Frank" Franklin Combs, 60, of Shelburn went to be with his Savior Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, in Union Hospital. He retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157 after 40 years as an HVAC Service Technician. Frank was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Terre Haute to Roy Virgil Combs and Abbie Jane (Wheat) Combs.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tresea Kay (Pittman) Combs; daughters, Keeley Roxanne Earl (spouse Jeremy) of Terre Haute and Chelsea Kay Osman (spouse Adrian) of Erie, Pa.; son, Tadd Ervin Combs (spouse Valerie) of Terre Haute; brother, Harold Virgil Combs (spouse Doris) and family of Billings, Mont.; grandchildren, Rand Colby Earl, Jace Ryan Earl, Conard Matthew Combs, and Lillian Anne Combs; and extended family. He was a member of Pimento United Methodist Church and former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lafayette. He was also a member of RSES, ASHRAE, the Haz-Mat team in Vigo County and in Lafayette, an EMT and Volunteer Firefighter in Linton Township and Prairie Creek, a member of TEMA and CERT, was an adjunct professor and taught at Ivy Tech in Lafayette, and he was associated with the El Shaddai Emmaus Walk. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, from 4 until 8 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, in Terre Haute, with funeral services on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Voll officiating.
