Clara A. Low
Clara was born July 24, 1929, at rural Marshall, Ill., the daughter of Harry and Mabel Miller Willmann.
She married Eugene A. Low, who preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; and a sister, Norma Mattis.
Surviving are four sons, Warren (Peggy) Low of Casey, Ill., Robert (Sherry) Low of St. Louis, Mo., Duane (Jacque) Low and Tom (Carla) Low, both of Marshall; grandchildren, Joshua Low, Daniel Low, Leslie Williams, Victoria Davis, Veronica Low, Neal Low, Jillian Low, Stephanie Williams and Skyler Low; great-grandchildren, Nate Williams, Noah Williams, Natalie Williams, Asher Davis, Ellie Dumey, Kieran Washburn, Kylie Kennedy and Caden Low; a sister, Helen Wernz of Marshall, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She loved bowling, sewing, gardening and working in her flower beds. She was a graduate of Marshall High School. Clara especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Services in honor of her life will be 10 a.m. Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Bob Miller conducting the services. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Cemetery Association or to the Clark County Fair Association.
