Charlotta Kay Oliphant, 71, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born Feb. 6, 1946, in Linton, Indiana, the daughter of Bill and Minnie (Bingham) Sullivan.
Kay worked at Bloomfield State Bank; she was the manager of the South Plaza Branch and worked for Flowers by Janice. She was a member of the Sandborn Baptist Church and attended the Bloomfield First Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Tom Oliphant of Bloomfield; her children, Todd (Karen) Smith of Ohio, Jeff (Nancy) Oliphant of Carmel and Jill (Matt) Fougerousse; her grandchildren, Chris (Lauren) Smith, Brock (Jennie) Smith, Samantha (Matt) Cox, Sam Oliphant, Abby Oliphant, Sophie Oliphant, Libbi Fougerouss and Kip Fougerousse; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita Allen of Cloverdale; two brothers-in-law, Sonny Cox and Bill Kennedy; and four special friends, Suzie Noel, Rosemary McPheeters, Crystal Goodpaster and Janice Walker.
Kay was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Cox and Martha Kennedy; one brother, Jerry Sullivan; a great-granddaughter, Jade Smith; and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Kay's name.
