Carl E. Keller, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at 1:06 a.m. in his residence. He was a retired general contractor and worked for Wolohan Lumber and was currently working at Niehaus Lumber. Carl was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Clay City, to Wayne Keller and Mabel (Knight) Keller. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn "Sue" (Gaskins) Keller; sisters-in-law, Karen Gaskins, Pauline Gorby, and Rosemary Keller; brother-in-law, Charles Gaskins; special great-niece, Sadie Abrams; special niece, Bailey Gaskins; special friend, Hailey Burns; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Lawrence Keller; and a brother-in-law, Willard Gaskins.
Carl loved to travel and enjoyed working in his yard.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Zachary Manton officiating, with burial to follow.
