Brenda B. Lowe, 76, of West Terre Haute passed away at 4:59 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017, in Union Hospital's emergency room. She was born Dec. 29, 1940, at Blue Island, Ill., to Frank Kramer and Winifred Connor Kramer. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Pastor David Lowe, whom she married Aug. 25, 1959; four children, Robert Lowe and wife Linda of Gas City, Brenda Mott and husband Richard Mott Jr. of West Terre Haute, James Lowe and wife Jerri of Clinton, and Melissa Houston and husband Bill of Charleston, Ill.; one sister, Dorothy Deakins of Farmersburg; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; her mother, Winifred Kramer Poorman; a son, David Junior Lowe; and two brothers, Robert Kramer and infant brother William Kramer.
Brenda had been a pastor's wife for 42 years and a member of several churches where David was serving. She was currently a member of Grace Chapel. She loved crafts, sewing, canning, raising chickens and fishing. She loved her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with Pastor John Bigger officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Friday.
