Bill Williams, 69, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at 9:55 p.m., in Meadows Manor East. He was a retired welder. Bill was born Jan. 16, 1949, (one of 13 children) in Clinton, to James Williams and Anna Margaret (Rupnick) Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Williams; sisters, Mary Lou Hurst of Prairie Creek; Beverly Chambers and Lola Williams, both of Dana; Carolyn York of Clinton; Rose Mary Hulley of Rosedale; and Emma Thomas of Florida; brothers, Bob Williams of Montezuma and Jim Williams of Terre Haute; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Williams, who died Oct. 9, 2012; sisters, Barbara Thomas and Ethel Nevins; and brothers, David Williams and Chuck Williams.
Bill attended First Baptist Church in Prairie Creek. Visitation is 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with funeral services at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, in the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin Dobson officiating.
