Betty was born Dec. 8, 1932, in Brazil, and was a 1950 graduate of Brazil High School. She married Bill July 7, 1956, and moved to Terre Haute, where she lived most of her adult life. She retired from Indiana State University Department of Education Pre-Student Teaching Lab after 25 years of service.
Her hobbies were taking pictures, reading, and finding treasures at garage sales. She attended Terre Haute Christian Church until her health precluded it. She loved music and attended many concerts with her friends and family. She spent her last three years being cared for by her daughters, in Indianapolis; and by her favorite doctor, Randall Strate, to whom we are grateful for his care.
