Betty's Story

Betty Louise Ciolli, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away in her home on Dec. 23, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born to Chunco West and Ava Rainbolt West in Bloomington, on June 22, 1927.
She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church all of her life. She worked as a hair dresser, working at Roots as well as being one of the owners of Downtown Hair Designers. She volunteered at the soup kitchen helping those in need. She loved Gatlinburg, Tenn. She also was very good at embroidering quilts. She loved her family very much, and loved to spend time with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Frank.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Ciolli and his wife Susie, Mike Ciolli and his wife Sarah, and Gary Ciolli and his wife Marsha; daughter, Rosalee and her late husband Bob; grandchildren, Robbin Cannon (Michael), Tracy Robinson (Stew), Jennifer Branam (Josh), Chistina "Chrissy" Jarvis (Edward), Stephanie Stewart (Heath), Andrew Ciolli (Christy), Christopher Ciolli (Rebekah), Megan Bartlett (Mike), Brittany Modesitt (Jared), and Nicolas Ciolli (Lindy); and a niece, Shirley Stone Stancomb and friend Jimmy Grey
Services for Betty will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at:
