Aiden Troy Northcutt, 11, of Terre Haute, gained his angel wings on Nov. 6, 2017, in Riley Children's Hospital due to asthma complications. He was born in Terre Haute, on April 20, 2006, to Quinton Northcutt and Kandi (Sims) Northcutt.
Aiden attended 6th grade at Otter Creek Middle School. He purely loved and enjoyed playing with his friends, cousins, four wheelers, dirt bikes, fishing, putting together puzzles, and also building with his endless Legos sets.
His family called him the "chicken whisperer"; the family chickens would literally walk up to him, so he would hold them like a baby. This 11 year old taught us all more about love and kindness than most endure over two lifetimes. Eleven and a half years was just not enough time with this guy. He was a boy who understood all of our brands of geek. Aiden was a kind soul, that all who knew him loved, and the world is a better place because he lived in it.
He is survived by his mother, Kandi Northcutt (Dylan Sinn); brother, best friend and hero, Gage Hutson (Shelby); his father, Quinton Northcutt (Heather Malone and her daughters Chelcey, Payje and Keeghan); grandparents, Roger and Debra Northcutt, Kenneth Sims Sr. (Melissa) and Kendra Grayless (Dave); great-grandparents, Dick and Mary Jane Monninger; aunts and uncles, Matthew Northcutt (Tammy), Matthew Wall (Brandy), Kenneth Sims Jr., Jordan Mowery (Chelsea), Alexis Sims, Kyle Sims, Peyton Sims, Kelly Gilliland (Dusty) and Jurgen Sinn; cousins, Shyler, Camden and Jaxon, Sebashtian and Haley, and Brayden and Andrew; special friends, Alex, Maurice, Kaylee Elizabeth, Kayleigh Jade, Madison, Addison, Kendyl, Brock, and Gage R.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, from 10 a.m. until service time.
